When we started our enterprise, we decided to call it “cabins”. We were sure that it was the most suitable definition for our activity. However, we realize that we have to explain the word “cabins”. When small apartments are offered with the name of cabins, this word is being misused.

A cabin is a typical construction of Patagonian Mountains recognizable by its unique architecture, its integration with the landscape as well as the materials used to construct it. It must have its hearth. Wood and stones must be the predominant materials used. Finally, a cabin should be located on the coast of a lake or in the heart of the forest.

Not many cabins have all the characteristic already mentioned. Cabins “Las Marias del Nahuel” do have all of these characteristics. They were constructed with WOOD AND STONES OF PATAGONIAN ANDES. Cypress, Patagonian pine and larch are the predominant materials (the roof was constructed with larch of Chiloé Island). All the cabins have its hearth making a warmth place with an excellent view of Lake Nahuel Huapi and the Patagonian Mountains. The design of all the cabins was done taking into account the view of the lake.

From your cabin you can reach directly to Lake Nahuel Huapi, enjoy the beach and the myrtle copse. Children can enjoy the tree house that was built on an old tree. From there they can also enjoy an exclusive view of Lake Nahuel Huapi
